The Getresponse plug-in lets your WordPress visitors to subscribe via a sign up form, as well as via comment – all you need to do is add an invitation line that will be displayed in the comment form and their email address will be automatically added to your GetResponse campaign. Additionally, if you have a WooCommerce plugin installed at your e-store you can now add all the customers as they complete their orders – straight from the Checkout Page.
The plugin enables adding web forms created in GetResponse anywhere in your WordPress blog as well as inside your posts.
To activate the plugin go to your WP panel>>Plugins>>Add New. Search for GetResponse Integration v 2.0. and activate the plugin.
Once installed the plugin will activate a small drop-down menu inside the WP blog editor. It will include a list of all your GetResponse web forms.
GetResponse Integration plugin allows you to add web form on your blog by using the widgets. In the Widgets tab you can freely drag and drop the web form widget into the three areas of your blog: side bar, side bar next to the text and the footer area. Each web form can be displayed in the original GetResponse layout or the WordPress style. You can define the format by adding some small modifications in the web form HTML code string: “on” or “off”.
You can also enable subscriptions via the comments by switching the comments integration to ON. From this moment on, the comment box in your blog will include the checkbox to subscribe to your campaign when leaving a comment.
If you use WordPress as an e-commerce platform you can also use the GetResponse plugin to add subscribers to your campaign via the checkout page in your store If you have the e-commerce plugin installed on your WP page, GetResponse plugin will recognize it and automatically activate the “Subscribe via Checkout Page” feature. Please note it’s can only work with the e-commerce plugin is installed.
Switch the checkout integration to ON and select the target campaign to add new subscribers from each checkout process.
Additionally you can now map the custom fields, e.g. we will show you what type of customer data can be grabbed from a checkout process. You can then decide how to name the data when adding it to GetResponse. Please note that empty input fields won’t add the data to GetResponse.
Please note that this is the new extended version of our old plug-in. If you have a web form on your WordPress site you don’t need to replace the plug-in for the form to work. However, if you want to use the “Subscribe via comment” or “Subscribe via Checkout Page” option, you’ll need to deactivate the older versions and install the new one: 2.0.
